Presidents Welcome
Welcome to Wandering. We are glad you have chosen our beautiful Community to settle in.
Wandering is primarily an agricultural region, which produces hay, cereal crops, pulse crops (such as lupins), oil seed (canola), wool, lamb and beef. Viticulture are also practised in Wandering.
Wandering has a Mediterranean climate with hot dry summers and cool, damp winters. In winter, it is one of the coldest towns in Western Australia.
Wandering is steeped in some fascinating history, and a few books have been written on Wandering’s history, such as “The Horses Came First”, “Wandering Girl”; “The Outcome is Unknown” and “Old Schools of Wandering District”. Be sure to stop in at our local Community Resource Centre to find these books and other fantastic resources.
We hope you enjoy your move to Wandering and we look forward to seeing you.
