Services To The Community

The Shire of Wandering provides a number of services to its community.

Australia Post Agency

Hours 9.00am – 4.30pm Monday – Friday (excluding Public Holidays) daily, packages can be collected from the Shire Office between these hours.  Post office boxes are accessible 24/7.

Customers can purchase both Domestic and International stamps, prepaid envelopes, tough bags etc. You can also pay your utility Accounts ie: Telstra, Synergy

Department Of Transport (D.O.T)

Licensing services are undertaken at the Wandering Community Resource Centre.

Payment of Vehicle Licenses, Drivers Licenses renewals, Transfers of Vehicles, Boat License Renewals. For more information regarding licensing please refer to DOT website: www.transport.wa.gov.au

Shire of Wandering also offers “Special Series District Plate” purchases. If you are looking for a specific number plate please contact the Community Resource Centre on 08 9884 1561 or email crc@wandering.wa.gov.au.

Household Rubbish Collection

• Collected weekly on Tuesdays for the Wandering Townsite.
• Recycling is collected every SECOND Tuesday.

Fire Control

The issue of wild fire is taken very seriously in the Shire of Wandering. Detailed obligations and requirements are placed on all land owners to minimise the risk of fires. A brochure titled Bush Fire Notice, which sets out these requirements and contact details for the Fire Officers, is available.
