Wandering Caravan Park
The Wandering caravan park and camping area is located in Cheetaning Street, Wandering. There are two accessible fully self contained cabins, 13 powered sites with powered overflow available, as well as an ablution block and a camp kitchen. Unpowered sites also available.
The self contained cabins include linen, oven, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, one double bed plus a fold out sofa bed, hairdryer, iron and ironing board.

Please note there are no shops in Wandering - the nearest towns are Pingelly and Boddington, both around half an hour away.

Once you have paid for your booking you will receive a confirmation email that will contain the code to the camp kitchen and ablution block. A reminder that the camp kitchen is here for the use of all patrons of the Wandering Caravan Park. For safety reasons please do not park any vehicle, camper van or caravan, or erect any structure within 20 metres of the camp kitchen.

Pumphreys Bridge
27 km from Wandering Town. Set next to the Hotham River on Pumphreys Road, Pumphreys Bridge is a scenic picnic area popular with locals and visitors alike. Across the river from the picnic area is the Pumphreys Historical Homestead where John and Isabella Pumphrey settled in 1888. Please book online by clicking here. Stays are for up to 48 hours only.
The CWA Hall, containing toilets and kitchen facilities is available for hire by contacting the CWA on 0428 877 038.
Please note there are NO campfires permitted at any time of the year at Pumphreys Bridge Campground. Fire Control Officers regularly patrol the area and will issue a fine of up to $250 to anyone that has a fire burning.
CANCELLATION POLICY / TERMS AND CONDITIONS
In the event a Hirer cancels a confirmed booking, all monies paid in advance will be refunded except when the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the booking, in which case 50% of the booking fee will be held as a cancellation fee.
If you are booking as a group you are required to pay in one transaction as a group (We do not accept individual/multiple payments for group bookings). Sites MUST be paid for upon booking.
No specific site can be booked at the Wandering Caravan Park, we cannot guarantee your preferred site.
Accessible bay bookings at the Wandering Caravan Park may be subject to an ACROD pass being sighted.
Dogs at the Wandering Caravan Park
You are welcome to bring your dogs to the caravan park, dogs are NOT permitted in the chalets.
- Your dog(s) must remain on a lead at all times within the park.
- Your dog(s) must be supervised at all times whilst in the park.
- Just like children, your dog(s) must not be left unattended in any area of the park. This includes being left inside tents, campers, caravans or motorhomes on their own.
- As the owner of your dog(s), you acknowledge that you are personally responsible for any and all personal injuries and/or property damage in relation to any actions caused by your dog(s).
- Your dog(s) are not permitted in the camp kitchen and amenities.
- You must pick up and dispose of your dog’s waste (bags are located on a stand in the park).
- Your dog’s bedding IS NOT to be washed in the guest washing machines.
